I am a human who is dedicated to building sustainable, inclusive communities through trust-building, institutional reform, and policy change. I have worked and consulted for a diverse range of organizations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in ways that directly improve peoples’ lives. My portfolio of research/doing/advising/writing includes nationally-cited qualitative and quantitative research projects, contributions to various local coalition advocacy campaigns, policy development, and strategic planning workshops for public agency staff. I currently work at the Natural Resources Defense Council, advising cities on transportation policy and project implementation as part of the American Cities Climate Challenge.
I studied environmental engineering at Columbia University and then focused on the intersection of technology, urbanism, and public policy at MIT. In addition to all of the above, I’m interested in and draw inspiration from journalism, art, cooking, and lots of other things. I’d love to talk more.
